Our purpose as a social enterprise includes the following: 

• We Pay The Rent to the traditional owners of the lands on which we live, work & create in Narrm (Melbourne); the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and neighbouring Boonwurrung Peoples of the Kulin Nation. And we support First Nations peoples self-determination.
• We care deeply for people and for the planet, through sustainable practices and ethical sourcing of our organic ingredients, and source from local farms where possible. 
• We create employment opportunities for people living in the diaspora, with experiences of movement, migration and displacement.
• We promote resilient local food systems and food sovereignty, and preserve our ancestral knowledge. We share herbal medicine practices from Palestine & the SWANA region.
